Trying new methods of tonemapping. Picked up a few things from CharlieMacBell's tutorial. Go look at it, it's wonderful.

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. Also I'm never a big fan of large frames, I think it always takes a part of the attention off from the photograph and yours is truly beautiful.... Kudos!

My attemps at HDR's with DOF like this often dont look great. As it sometimes gets confused in the blurred areas. eg your smaller window's halo. but you seem to have over come this

I don't know a huge amount about layers - I'm not sore what most of the blending methods actually do (levels layer?!) - I see what you mean by the right side, I'll have a look.
